The Segmented Project Planner now has a Plug-In interface that allows independently created complex segment designers to ve added without change to the basic program. Add a new complex segment design capability to your installation of SPP is just about as simple as copying two files (the code and its help file) and registering the new code with Windows.

Each designer uses project iformation from SPP plus design inputs from you to create a specific type of complex segment design. When you save one of these designs, a picture of it is created and added to the program's library of Segment Images so you can then use it to "paint" segments in your projects. Each designer produces a report that you can print and take to the workshop to construct the design. The help file system includes detailed instructions for how to successfully create each design type.

Access to each designer is via the menu using Edit|Designers. Access to help for each designer is via the menu using Help|Designers. Upon initial installation, before purchase registration, only the help system is fully usable.

At the moment, there are two such designers:

Diamond Border Designer	Create a Diamond using the lamination board technique, slice it, flip over each slice, and re-assemble. Slice and saw kerf width adjustments create many different results from the same Diamond and the gamut of Diamonds is limitless.
Slicer Designer	Slice virtually any object you've already made, or intend to, such as previously made zigzags, stacked sawings, and diamonds. Slice and saw kerf are fully asjustable to create many different results from the same source image.

Each designer is available on CD or via download.
