Some Examples

For a commercial provider of hotel reservation and accounting systems we developed a subsystem for front desk personnel to view and modify reservation information. This software provided an easy to use Windows style interface supported by extensive on-line and context sensitive help information. The subsystem provided for use from several PC based workstations on a LAN.

We spent over two years working off the backlog of a supplier of computer systems for the wholesale beverage distribution industry. The activities included developing automatic interfaces between distributors and beverage producers, support for telephone sales, and interactive radio-linked support for warehouse and sales personnel.

For a provider of proprietary systems solutions we developed applications and reports to support implementation of a new Human Resources and Payroll system (provided by Ceridian Employer Services) at a major savings and loan institution.

For a wholesale bakery that wanted to move into computers, we located a commercial accounting and sales support package (ACPAC) that nearly filled all their needs. We then provided add-ins to support determination of the sizes of batches of dough to make to support orders. For this system we procured all support hardware as well. Since its original installation, the hardware has been upgraded twice to keep up with growing sales. Recently we transformed all files for use with "Quick Books" and moved them from their DOS environment to Windows 98.

We selected hardware and software for an on-line, real-time financial and administrative information system and adapted off-the-shelf software to meet internal and external reporting requirements. This system has continued to perform successfully while the company more than tripled in size.

We outsourced payroll processing for a large services company and integrated the new process with the company's existing accounting system. As a part of this effort we automated the process of sending data to the payroll vendor so that no manual intervention is required in the pay process.
